The conversation at our dinner table is determined by what we are having. If it is something that Sean likes there is not much conversating (more eating going on than talking). IF it is something that he does not like (which is often, he is very picky), he is very chatty because if he is talking he cant eat (that would be rude). Well, last night we had spaghetti (which he doesn't like, shocker), so he was pretty talkative. Normally getting information out of him goes something like this......
Me: asking Sean, how was your day at school?
Sean: Fine!
Me: What did you learn at school today?
Sean: I don't know.
Me: Who did you play with?
Sean: No one.
Me: You didn't play with anyone?
Sean: No, just played by myself.
Which I know is Bologna.
Its all pretty much one word answers, not a talker, unless he is really excited about something or he doesn't like dinner. So back to the dinner conversation..... Sean said "today is Ground Hog day". I said "really", James chimed in "yeah it is, you are right buddy". I said "how did you know that it was Ground Hog day?" Sean said "Mrs. Nuse (his teacher) told me, and if the ground hog comes out and sees his shadow we will have 6 more weeks of Christmas!" He was so excited. Wouldn't you be! Six more weeks of Christmas! I told him "I think that it is 6 more weeks of winter (but what do I know, I didn't even know that it was Ground Hogs day). He replied with an "oh". I didn't mean to burst his bubble, but who could afford six weeks of Christmas. He is such a cutie.
