Resolutions.....

Okay, so I am updating my resolutions from a few posts ago.

Well..........

Just kidding, its not that bad.

1. Update blog more often: Check. Probably not as much as I should, but certainly more than before.

2. My devotions: Check. I have been involved in a bible study (Beth Moore, Esther). Need I say more? It is an EXCELLENT study and I am thoroughly enjoying it. It has just encouraged me more to spend time daily in the word.

3. Family Picture: Not Yet. But have big plans for a family vacation picture. Does that count?

4. Organize: NOT EVEN CLOSE. James and I have decided to "redo" our bathroom. From a half bath to a full bath. So, most of you know the mess that entails. Hopefully when we wrap this up in the next few weeks I can then start the clean up process. I have before pictures and will take afters and post them when I can figure it out.

5. Get Healthy: Check, on my way, anyway. I joined the gym. I am so glad that I did. Didn't really want to because it is so expensive, and we have a lot of equipment at our house (but it is all in the garage and it is not heated). It has been very cold here lately and as a result......no working out for me. My hubby has been EXTREMELY supportive and sweet about it all. I am determined to do this and with his support I know I will get results.

Hello

Sorry, I have not been able to load my pics or videos. I don't know what the major malfunction is, but maybe I can talk my sweet sis into helping me out next time we are together.

All has been well in the Blackwell house. My boys are growing up WAY to fast. James is doing well in his new position. Just very busy, that's good, right?!

Hopefully I will be able to share some more later accompanied with some photos :)

Snow, Snow, and MORE SNOW!

I know that I am a little behind....We have been busy, so has everyone else right!

We have been hit so hard this year with the snow stick, as well as most others in the great state of Maryland. I have some pictures to share with you....but, for some reason I am having difficulty downloading them.

The boys were also in the Christmas pageant at Church. Again, I have cute pics and video....BUT have not been successful in posting them.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year! I love the start of a new year. It gives me a sense of a clean slate, a new start, a fresh beginning...... I think you get the point.

We had a great holiday season. We are doing well, and are blessed with each and every day.

I am making a few new year's resolutions and thought that if I post them for all to read that it will help me stick to them.

1. Update my blog more frequently then last year :)-

2. Stick to my devotions no matter how busy life gets

3. Get a family picture taken

4. Organize some things in the house (closets and such).

5. Be healthier (of course, lose weight) I have planned to do a mini marathon (13 miles) to help me stay the course on this journey (in 12 weeks, to ensure no slacking)

I have high hopes and aspirations, hopefully they will stay that way :)

I was going to post a few pictures of the family during the holidays. They are not loading for some reason. I will post them later, I don't want to delay this post any longer :)

Dads and Moms

Fathers Day and Mothers Day consisted of cookout style shin digs at my parents house. They were great times.Unfortunately, James (daddy) had to work both Fathers Day AND Mothers Day. At least he was able to stop by and get something to eat. My my boys and I, and my momma, sister and I on Mothers Day.

Jessie, Dad and I on Fathers Day!

Farkel and Fish

Farkel is a new dice game that we learned to play. Well, my boys have really taken to playing it. Its basically about a lot of luck and a little strategy and the boys love it. They believe a little blow on the dice will bring them a good roll.

They also enjoy a good game of "GO FISH". Ahh, a classic. A big high five to celebrate Sean's victory. He is quite the competitor.
